Turbine Generator Technical Services, LLC is a small company based out of St. Louis, Missouri. We offer customers a variety of services for turbine generator maintenance, repair, retrofitting, and outage projects. Our turbine generator services are available for all types of equipment including fossil and nuclear steam turbine generators. These services can help you to plan, schedule, prepare for, execute, or manage any turbine or generator maintenance or repair project.

Who We Are: Turbine & Generator Maintenance & Repair Experts
Turbine Generator Technical Services was founded in early 2007 by Brad Newton and Bob Huneke. A year later, Shawn Duffy joined as a third partner to the company. Four additional associates have been added over the recent years to augment our permanent staff and meet our service needs during times of peak demand. Today, we have experience providing most types of services for turbines and generators, and we can offer turbine generator services to meet the needs of our customers during their turbine generator maintenance, repair, or retrofitting project.
Brad Newton – Vice President of Turbine Services:
Brad Newton began his steam turbine generator career as a General Electric Mechanical Field Service Engineer for 5 years and then as a Project Manager for another 10 years for GE. Brad continued his career in the power generation industry by working for the St. Louis based utility, Ameren, where he worked for 7 years in the centralized turbine engineering group, before co-founding TGTS. Brad has worked on fossil and nuclear GE units as well as fossil Westinghouse, Alstom, and Toshiba equipment.
Shawn Duffy – Vice President of Generator Services:
Shawn Duffy began his steam turbine generator career as a General Electric Mechanical Field Service Engineer for 7 years and then as a Generator Specialist for another 10 years for GE. Shawn next moved to MD&A where he worked as a Generator Specialist for 4 years and as Manager of Generator Services for 6 years, before coming to TGTS. Shawn has worked on most OEM brands of turbine generator equipment from .5 MW to 1250 MW. The generator brands with which Shawn is familiar include GE, Westinghouse, ABB, Hitachi, and AC.
Bob Huneke – Vice President of Operations
Bob Huneke started his steam turbine generator career with Westinghouse Electric Corporation where he worked as a Mechanical Field Service Engineer for 6 years, a Project Manager for 4 years, and a Program Manager for 8 years. Bob then continued his career in the power generation industry by working for the St. Louis based utility, Ameren, for 9 years in the centralized turbine engineering group, before co-founding TGTS. Bob has worked on fossil and nuclear Westinghouse and GE units, as well as fossil Alstom, and Allis Chalmers equipment.
